Prevalence of Obesity and Trends of Body Mass Index in Azad Jammu and Kashmir

In the present study an attempt has been made to figure out remarkable factors that were responsible for higher body mass index (BMI) and obesity as well observe existing trends of BMI in Azad Jammu Kashmir. The age, sex, diabetes, blood pressure, total cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose random glucose. statistical analysis with both classical Bayesian methodologies was carried investigation significant risk factors. results showed increase age also increases i.e., respondents group > 60 have highest percentage 82.76% BMI. Moreover, it found except sex pressure all other had association Additionally, four namely, cholesterol triglycerides selected development parsimonious model based on generalized linear model, step wise regression averaging.
